On Monday afternoon, zMAX CARS Tour officials unveiled their 19-race schedule for the 2024 season, which will kick off at Southern National Motorsports Park in March, and end at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in mid-October.

It feels like just yesterday we were all watching Kade Brown take the checkered flag in November’s South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway, but already it’s time to head back to Florence to break the ice on another new season of Late Model Stock Car racing in the southeast. We want our fans to be caught up before a race, so here is everything you need to know for the 9th Annual IceBreaker 150 at Florence Motor Speedway.

The SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic released their 2024 season schedule Tuesday from its Martinsville, Virginia headquarters. The schedule will consist of 15 races across North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia for the 600-horsepower open wheeled race cars.

At just 17 years old, Kade Brown has quickly established himself among the elite in Late Model Stock Car racing. Just this year alone he became a track champion at Hickory Motor Speedway, he won the Bobby Isaac Memorial and the Fall Brawl, and on Saturday night he added a crown jewel win in the South Carolina 400 to his list of accomplishments.

The NASCAR season just came to an end for the three national divisions last weekend at Phoenix Raceway, and with it ends Josh Berry’s tenure at JR Motorsports. But that doesn’t mean Berry’s done racing in 2023 just yet as he’ll head to Hickory Motor Speedway this weekend and Florence Motor Speedway the weekend after that with Kevin Harvick Inc. and crew chief Rodney Childers.

For the second year in a row, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be racing in the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway on November 18, Earnhardt  announced Tuesday afternoon.

With Hurricane Idalia on track to bring plenty of rain to Florence, South Carolina, the inaugural Locked In 150 at Florencen Motor Speedway will now take place on Friday, September 1, instead of the originally scheduled date of Wednesday, August 30. Now that we have to wait just a couple more days, we figured it would be a good idea to give everyone a refresher on what this race actually is, and why it’s so important.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the historic Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina this weekend for the Cook Out Southern 500, which kicks off the opening round of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. 36 teams have filed entries for Sunday’s grueling test of man and machine.

The first ever “Locked In 150” at Florence Motor Speedway in Florence, South Carolina is right around the corner, and entries have been pouring in ever since the race was first announced. Nearly 30 drivers and teams have already filed entries for the race on Wednesday, August 30 with more still expected.

After a wildly successful inaugural Street Car Braggin’ Rights race in 2022 at Carolina Dragway in Aiken, South Carolina, freshly minted race promoter and founder of Bring It Back Meets, Nate Prater, is bringin’ SCBR back for a second iteration with Street Car Braggin’ Rights Presented by Vengeance Racing on May 4-6, 2023.

Carson Kvapil had been close to a win at South Carolina’s Florence Motor Speedway on multiple occasions, but a poor showing in February’s Icebreaker made it seem like that win was much further away than he had thought. However, those feelings only lasted a month as Kvapil finally scored a win at Florence with the CARS Tour in Saturday’s Aaron’s 125.

Doug Barnes and company had a game plan and they stuck to it.

The Late Model Stock Car world is ready to break the ice at this weekend’s 150-lap Icebreaker event at South Carolina’s Florence Motor Speedway. More than 40 drivers are expected to make the trip for Saturday’s race, and included on that list is none other than two-time Daytona 500 champion, Dale Earnhardt Jr. The presence of the NASCAR Hall of Famer in the field is something that excites both fans and competitors alike.

For the second time in three months, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. is hopping in the time machine and running a NASCAR Late Model Stock Car at Florence Motor Speedway. Earnhardt will compete in the eighth annual Icebreaker February 10 and 11 at the Timmonsville, South Carolina race track.
