Brandon Sheppard Charges To Lucas Oil Late Model Win At Farmer City Raceway
Sliding past race-long leader Gordy Gundaker entering turn three on the 47th lap, 14th-starting Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Illinois led the rest of Monday's Farmer City 74 for a $25,000 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory. Sheppard captured the rain-postponed Illinois Speedweek finale in taking the checkers 1.252 seconds ahead of Gundaker.
