We cringe when it happens, and we hold our breath until we witness them emerge from the carnage. It’s not the pretty side of the sport we love, and the end result is a lot of shop time put in to rebuild and gather up the pieces to race on. 1. Wilson Finds The Brush At Red Dirt
Oct 28, 2020
The long-distance record of the year goes to Kyle Wilson who, like the Energizer Bunny, kept going and going and going after biking in turn three and flipping over the turn four wall. He continued flipping end-over-end after exiting the racetrack before landing in a pile of brush. The Jenks, Okla. native, who was making his USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget debut, was uninjured.
