Over the next two weeks, FloRacing's Road to Eldora presented by Castrol will deliver unique storylines from the Dirt Late Model world leading into the 53rd World 100, scheduled for September 7-9 at Eldora Speedway.

Berneice Baltes, at the side of her husband and Hall of Fame race promoter Earl Baltes for 51 years of Eldora Speedway ownership — and 67 years of marriage — died Wednesday. The New Weston, Ohio, resident and beloved figure among Eldora's ardent fanbase was 93. 

When Eldora Speedway was last open for action in June — well, the only time Tony Stewart’s half-mile oval in Rossburg, Ohio, has been open in this coronavirus-hampered season — Kyle Strickler made an impression that definitively established him in the Dirt Late Model world.

The Intercontinental Classic will make its debut at Eldora Speedway with a total $200,000 purse as a replacement event for the 2020 World 100. National, regional, and local Dirt Late Model stars from across the country will race on the legendary half-mile dirt track in Rossburg, Ohio which will run from September 10-12, 2020 culminating in a $50,000-to-win finale.
