ARCA Menards Series West Goes Bullring Racing At All American Speedway

After nearly a month away from the track, the ARCA Menards Series West season is set to resume Saturday night with the running of the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Berco Redwood at All American Speedway in Roseville, California.

The race serves as the ninth event on the 2022 ARCA Menards Series West schedule and marks the 24th visit by the series to the 0.333-mile paved oval.

With three races left in the West Series season, Jake Drew continues to hold a comfortable lead in the standings. He has a 52-point advantage on Sunrise Ford Racing teammate Tanner Reif entering Saturday’s race at All American.

The West Series made its debut at All American in 1977, when Sumner McKnight collected his first series victory. Among the drivers to earn West Series victories at the track include Jim Bown, Eric Holmes, Dylan Kwasniewski, Michael Self, Gio Scelzi and, most recently, P.J. Pedroncelli.

Tickets for the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Berco Redwood at All American Speedway are available. Below is everything to know about Saturday’s event.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

The tight confines of All American Speedway in Roseville, California, always puts on an entertaining show when the ARCA Menards Series West comes to town. There is no reason to think Saturday’s race will be any different.

Drew enters the race as the man to beat, as he’s won half of the eight races contested thus far this season. However, only one of those victories came on an oval. He’ll try to add his second oval victory at All American.

Reif is the only driver to beat Drew since early June. He’s scored victories at Irwindale Speedway on March 26 and Evergreen Speedway on Aug. 20. Drew and Reif both will be among the contenders at All American.

One driver to watch is P.J. Pedroncelli, who returns to All American as the defending West Series race winner. He’s taken the last two races off and returns to West Series competition fresh, which could be bad news for his rivals Saturday night.

Local favorite Cole Moore returns to All American still in search of his first West Series victory. Moore captured the 2020 Late Model track championship at All American, meaning he knows how to get around the tricky facility.

Landen Lewis, who triumphed earlier this year at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California, continues his pursuit of his second victory of the year in Bill McAnally Racing’s No. 16. Veteran racer John Moore returns to the West Series for the first time since 2015 aboard the No. 24 Chevrolet for team owner Alex McAnally.

Joey Iest, Todd Souza, Bridget Burgess and Takuma Koga are among the other series regulars scheduled to compete.
