One year ago, Eldora Speedway crowned two World 100 winners in one week for the first time in track history. This year, another monumental week is in store as the Tony Stewart-owned track will crown a Dirt Late Model Dream winner and a World 100 winner during the same week, September 7-10 at "The Big E."

While last year's monumental week came as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the postponement of the 2020 World 100, this year's historic week is a result of Mother Nature. With 14 laps competed in the Dirt Late Model Dream on June 11, the skies opened up and forced track officials to postpone the final 86 laps until Wednesday, September 7. 

This set up a can't-miss week of Dirt Late Model racing that will conclude with the 52nd Annual World 100 on Saturday, September 10. 

With a $128,000 payday on the line in Wednesday's Dirt Late Model Dream and the highly-coveted globe trophy plus $55,000 up for grabs on Saturday in the World 100, the four-day event will have the attention of the motorsports world. 

When the Dirt Late Model Dream resumes, Chris Madden will be scored as the leader of the race with Brandon Overton, Hudson O'Neal, Carson Ferguson and Tim McCreadie completing the top-five. Jonathan Davenport, who won $1 million in the Eldora Million on June 9, will restart the race in 20th.

In addition to the completion of the Dirt Late Model Dream, another unique event has also been added to the schedule for Wednesday, September 7. 

Drivers who are not competing in the Dirt Late Model Dream and who have never won a Late Model A-Feature at Eldora will be able to compete in the "Chasing The Dream" program. The Chasing the Dream program will consist of two or three (depending on car count) 20-lap feature races, with each feature paying $5,000 to win.

On Thursday, September 8 the 52nd Annual World 100 will officially get underway with time trials, qualifying heats, last chance races and twin 25-lap preliminary features. The same program will be run on Friday, September 9 with the results of both preliminary nights being used to set the lineup for Saturday's heat races. 

Heat races and B-Features on Saturday, September 10 will set the starting lineup for the $55,000-to-win World 100 later that evening.
