A huge week for Sprint Car racing in the state of Iowa kicks off Monday night in Oskaloosa with the Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway. With a $21,000 winner's check on the line, a star-studded field of Sprint Car racers will be competing in the event.

Headlining the list of expected entries is defending Front Row Challenge winner and NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson. One year ago, Larson claimed his second career Front Row Challenge victory prior to winning the prestigious Knoxville Nationals later in the week.

In order to win that race last year, Larson had to out-duel two-time race winner Brian Brown who will also be in competition on Monday night. Daryn Pittman, a four-time Front Row Challenge winner, will make his way to Oskaloosa seeking win number five in the event.

Carson Macedo, an eight-time winner with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars this season, enters the race following a third-place finish at Southern Iowa Speedway last year.

The Madsen brothers, Kerry and Ian, are expected to compete in the event as they seek a Front Row Challenge win for the family.

Fresh off the biggest USAC Midget win of his career last week at the BC39, Buddy Kofoid will climb behind the wheel of a Sprint Car for Monday night's race.

Other drivers who have announced intentions to compete in the event include young gun Ryan Timms, Austin McCarl, Kyle Reinhardt and Justin Sanders.

A unique format consisting of three 40-yard dashes on foot will set the first eight starting positions for the main event, with a $1,500 bonus going to the polesitter.

Race fans that cannot make it to Southern Iowa Speedway to take in the Front Row Challenge in person can watch the night’s racing action live on FloRacing beginning at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
