Another week, another ARCA Menards Series race paired with a NASCAR national series event to form an exciting doubleheader.

One week after a companion weekend with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, the ARCA Menards Series returns to action, this time at Michigan International Speedway for a doubleheader with the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The Henry Ford Health 200 marks the 12th ARCA Menards Series race of the season. It marks the 41st time the ARCA Menards Series has held a race at the two-mile oval in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Tickets to Saturday’s Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway are available. Below is everything to know about the event.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

All of the ARCA Menards Series regulars are scheduled to race at Michigan. That includes the trio of 2022 championship contenders in Rajah Caruth, Nick Sanchez and Daniel Dye.

Caruth enters this race as the leader in the standings with just a one-point edge on Sanchez, his Rev Racing teammate. Dye is just five points back from Caruth in third.

Joining the current ARCA Menards Series title contenders at Michigan is the 2020 series champion. Part-time Truck Series owner/driver Bret Holmes will make his second ARCA Menards Series start of 2022 driving his family team’s No. 23 Golden Eagle Syrup Chevrolet. Holmes also raced this year at Talladega Superspeedway, where he turned in a runner-up finish.

Another notable driver on the entry list for Saturday evening’s race at Michigan is Cody Coughlin, who is scheduled to make his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2015. Coughlin is an accomplished short-track racer who also has 53 truck series starts on his resume. He will race a family-owned car with Kevin Hamlin as his crew chief.

Jeffrey MacZink is also scheduled to make his return to the ARCA platform at Michigan. Three of the local driver’s previous eight starts in the ARCA Menards Series dating back to 2009 came at Michigan.

Corey Heim, the runner-up in last year’s ARCA Menards Series championship standings, will make his fifth ARCA start of the season at Michigan driving for Venturini Motorsports. His VMS teammates in the field will be Gus Dean and series regular Toni Breidinger.

RACE FACTS

CREW CHIEF HANDOUT: The starting field for the Henry Ford Health 200 is limited to 30 plus provisional positions. This event will be run under the 2022 ARCA Menards Series rules, procedures, regulations and specifications.

QUALIFYING: By timed session, impound. All cars must make an attempt, and all drivers must practice before they can qualify.

RACE PIT STOP: Modified live pit stop procedure. There will be a Competition Caution at or near Laps 35 and 70. All cars will be required to make at least one pit stop prior to last 10 laps of race. No adding or moving tires to or from pit box once race has started.

The maximum tire allotment available for this event is as follows: Per ARCA Rulebook, maximum number of tires allowed in pit box for use in race is eight (8).
