What To Expect Saturday

After practicing and qualifying on Friday, the only time the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be on the track Saturday is for their 100-lap feature race.

Notes

- Andy Suess and J.B. Fortin both experienced engine issues during Friday's practice and did not make a qualifying lap. Woody Pitkat planned to practice and qualify Seuss' No. 70 Modified while Seuss handled his duties as the car chief on the No. 16 Kaulig Racing NASCAR Cup Series car.

- NASCAR Cup Series driver Corey LaJoie is back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour car for the first time since 2015 this weekend. This is LaJoie's first career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour start at The Magic Mile.

- Ryan Preece enters Saturday's race as the most recent NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour winner at New Hampshire. This year, Preece will be behind the wheel of his own No. 40 Modified.

- With eight career Modified wins at the track, Bobby Santos III has established himself as one of the best drivers at New Hampshire over the last decade.

- Doug Coby returns to the Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) No. 7ny this weekend after already winning two races with the team this year. In addition to claiming wins with Coby, TBR has also won NWMT races with Jimmy Blewett and Michael Christopher, Jr. this season.

Format

Single-car qualifying on Friday set the field for Saturday's 100-lap race. The field will start straight up based on qualifying results.
