West Virginia Motor Speedway will end the 2021 racing season with a bang this weekend during the traditional RaceFest World Championships. With $5,000 up for grabs Saturday and $15,000 on the line Sunday, a strong field of Dirt Late Model drivers will be contending for the big prize. 

This weekend's Super Late Model event will be co-sanctioned by the United Late Model Series (ULMS) and Iron-Man Racing Northern Series. 

Leading the charge of drivers expected to be in attendance is national star Devin Moran, who won the Mark Balzano Memorial in August at West Virginia Motor Speedway. Moran, a four-time winner with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series in 2021, also finished third in the Historic 100 at WVMS in June. 

Gregg Satterlee, a five-time ULMS winner this season, will be returning to WVMS after a second-place finish in the Historic 100. The Pennsylvania driver is coming off a big preliminary night victory during the 50th Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway in September. 

Fresh off a World of Outlaws Late Model victory at Senoia Raceway last weekend, rising star Ashton Winger is expected to be in attendance. Winger will be making his debut behind the wheel of the Team 22 Inc. No. 89 Longhorn race car. 

With 12 ULMS wins to his credit already this season, Max Blair enters RaceFest as the ULMS North, South and National points leader. Blair will be making his first Super Late Model start at WVMS, but he did win a FASTRAK Racing Series event at the track in 2013. 

While Blair will represent the United Late Model Series, Dustin Nobbe enters RaceFest as the Iron-Man Racing Series North Region points leader. Despite not winning a race this season, Nobbe leads Tristan Chamberlain by 49 points in the standings. 

In addition to the $15,000-to-win Super Late Model race on Saturday, Modifieds will be in action with a $5,000 prize on the line. 

The "Highside Tickler" Kyle Strickler will be the busiest driver in the pit area, as he plans to pull double-duty in his Super Late Model and Modified. 

Racing gets underway Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps, qualifying and heat races for all divisions, as well as a B-Scramble for Modifieds, a B-Main for SDCRA Compacts and a $5,000-to-win Super Late Model race. 

Sunday's action will feature a $2,500-to-win Sport Mod race, $2,500-to-win SCDRA Compact feature, $5,000-to-win UMP Modified feature and $15,000-to-win Super Late Model main event.
