Big money season for the Big-Block Modifieds of the Northeast continues this weekend with the Danny Serrano 100 at Bridgeport Motorsports Park. The three-day event begins Friday and ends Sunday with a $10,000-to-win main event for the Modifieds.

The biggest event of the year at Bridgeport will feature many of the most successful drivers in Modified racing. An entry list released on the race track's Facebook page on Wednesday included the names of over 50 drivers planning to compete in the race.

Billy Pauch, Jr., a recent winner on the Short Track Super Series, has filed an entry for the event alongside his father Billy Pauch, Sr.

Pennsylvania standouts Ryan Godown, Jeff Strunk, Timmy Buckwalter, Craig VonDohren and Ryan Watt have also submitted entries.

Alex Yankowski, the defending winner of the Danny Serrano 100, has filed an entry and plans to defend his win from one year ago.

Asphalt Modified standout Jimmy Blewett will strap into his Dirt Modified to chase the biggest dirt win of his career.

Take a look back at last year's Danny Serrano 100 Modified race at Bridgeport.

This weekend's action at Bridgeport will begin Friday night with the Underdog 20 for drivers who have not won a Modified race this year. Sprint Cars and Street Stocks will also be competing in feature races.

Saturday's schedule will feature $1,500-to-win, triple 20-lap qualifiers for the Modified division, as well as features for the USAC East Coast Sprints and USAC SpeedSTRs.

That all leads into the big show on Sunday with 1-on-1 match races, the last chance showdown and $10,000-to-win Danny Serrano 100. The $4,000-to-win All American 40 for Sportsman will also be contested on Sunday.

Race fans unable to make it out to Bridgeport Motorsports Park will be able to watch all three days of racing live on FloRacing.
