After qualifiers, five drivers lead the way with three feature starts in the four primary classes. They include superstars like Alex Bright, Brian Carber, Tyler Courtney, Frank Flud and Kenny Miller III. Bright, Carber, Courtney and Flud all have a chance on Saturday to join the elite” quadruple duty” club with a position in every feature.
In the headlining 55-lap Winged Outlaw division, former Tulsa Shootout champions Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Mo. and Jonathan Beason of Broken Arrow, Okla. will lead the field to the green. Their front row battle of Hyper Racing vs. Ten-J Chassis is followed by a stout row two with USAC sensations Jason McDougal and Kevin Thomas Jr.
KTJ is locked into two A-mains during Saturday's Driller Day.
The Okie’s stepped up and defended their home turf in Outlaw Non-Wing qualifiers; resulting in an all Oklahoma front row with Claremore’s Kris Carroll and Muskogee’s Jake Nail in prime position. They’re chased by a pair of PA Posse gassers in Alex Bright and Tommy Kunsman.
Saturday’s 30-lap A-Class affair is loaded at the front of the field. Pennsylvania’s Brian Carber and Oklahoma’s Jason McDougal lead the way, but behind them is an absurd group of Christopher Bell, Hank Davis, Jake Hagopian, Frank Flud, and Daison Pursley all in the first four rows.
Stock Non-Wing includes another ridiculous front few starters with California’s TJ Smith, All Stars Circuit of Champions racer Tyler Courtney, and soon-to-be Chili Bowl racer Brian Carber all starting 1-2-3.
