We've had a little bit of everything the past week for the All Star Circuit of Champions "Thunder Through The Plains" tour. From one of the greatest races we've ever seen to unfortunate rainouts, wind-outs, and postponements. Lets take a look at the races we've completed so far:
Red Dirt Raceway
After Lawton Speedway's postponement on June 4 due to rain, the All Stars moved to Meeker, Oklahoma's Red Dirt Raceway on Friday, June 5. There is no denying that what followed was one of the most memorable features in series history. Watch (or rewatch) the feature:
81 Speedway
Another rainout on Saturday, June 6 at the Outlaw Motor Speedway pointed the series to Park City, Kansas for Sunday, June 7's visit to 81 Speedway. Watch the feature:
Lawton Speedway
Monday, June 8 saw the series return to Oklahoma, this time at Lawton Speedway for a 40 lap affair, as two familiar faces from Red Dirt's thriller once again put on a show in the feature:
Next up: Devil's Bowl
A rare "wind-out" for the rescheduled Tuesday, June 9 stop at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Oklahoma shifts round four of the "Thunder Through The Plains" series for the All Star Circuit of Champions to the famous Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite Texas on Wednesday, June 10.
