The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series wrapped up its annual swing across the Northeast on Sunday at Port Royal Speedway with a 40-lap, $10,000-to-win program.

Ricky Thornton Jr. swept the night by virtue of a commanding performance, leading every lap from the pole for his second straight victory and fifth series win of the year.

Mike Marlar, who challenged Thornton numerous times throughout the feature's running but could never complete the pass, finished second, 1.538 seconds behind. Garrett Alberson recorded his second straight podium finish in third.

Rick Eckert was the biggest mover of the race, finishing 11th from the 26th-starting spot. Fourth-finishing Jonathan Davenport and fifth-finishing Devin Moran both gained eight positions.
