With NASCAR in town at Delaware's Dover Motor Speedway this weekend, Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain have joined Friday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series field at Georgetown Speedway.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup champion, Larson, and 2022 Championship Four finalist, Chastain, headline the night's roster that's surpassed 40 entries.

Joining the Lucas Oil Series campaigners are World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series points leader Brandon Sheppard, as well as Max McLaughlin, an Alabama Gang 100 semifeature winner at Talladega Short Track last Friday.

Ricky Thornton Jr. holds onto a slim five-point lead over Jonathan Davenport in the series race. Devin Moran, Hudson O'Neal — debuting his new race team on Friday — and Mike Marlar round out the top-five in the series standings.
