Remainder Of High Limit Racing Opener Postponed To Tuesday At East Bay
Rain has pushed Monday's season-opening High Limit Racing main event at East Bay Raceway Park to Tuesday evening.
Persistent rain showers has forced High Limit Racing officials to push the rest of Monday's High Limit Racing season-opening event at East Bay Raceway Park to Tuesday evening.
Opening night of the Battle at the Bay completed all four heats before wet weather moved through the Tampa region. The remainder of Monday's program — the C-main, the FK Rod Ends Dash, B-main, and 30-lap, $10,000-to-win main event — will take place prior to Tuesday's regularly scheduled program, starting with hot laps at 4 p.m.
Pit passes from Monday will still be required for pitside entry to the remainder of the opening night program. Grandstand admission, however, will be free of charge for the completion of Monday's program. Refunds are not available because once heats have finished, it's considered a complete show.
General admission seating will then be cleared out at the third-mile oval upon the conclusion of Monday's program.
Pit access opens at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with spectator gates opening at 3 p.m.
