The 2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season begins with a busy stretch that includes 15 races in in a one-month stretch during Georgia-Florida Speedweeks. The busy stretch will see the biggest stars in dirt late model racing visit four different race tracks, three in Florida and one in Georgia. 

What Is The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series? 

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is a premier national dirt late model touring series that brings stars of the sport to race tracks all over the country each year. Founded in 2005, the series will be contesting its 20th consecutive season of hosting major dirt late model events in 2024. 

Since the series was founded, some of the most recognized names in dirt track racing have competed in and won Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races. Scott Bloomquist, Jonathan Davenport, Tim McCreadie and Jimmy Owens are among those who have won championships. NASCAR stars Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick have both won series races.

Where Can I Watch The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series? 

Every Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event during the 2023 season will be streamed live on MAVTV on FloRacing.

Which Race Tracks Host Georgia-Florida Speedweeks Races?

Four different race tracks will host the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series during Georgia-Florida Speedweeks.

Golden Isles Speedway will host the first three races of the season beginning Thursday, January 25 and ending Saturday, January 27. The finale on January 28 will pay $25,000 to the winner.

From there, the series will visit Ocala Speedway (FL) for a pair of $10,000-to-win races on Sunday, January 30 and Monday, January 31. 

After a night off, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns to action at All-Tech Raceway (FL) for races on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3. 

A busy stretch will conclude with six straight nights of racing during the WinterNationals event at East Bay Raceway Park beginning on Monday, February 5 and ending Saturday, February 10. 

New to the schedule this year, the series will return to Golden Isles Speedway on February 23-24. The event on Saturday, February 24 will be a combination event with High Limit Racing Sprint Cars. 

All of these races will be streamed live on MAVTV on FloRacing.  

Who Will Be Racing During Georgia-Florida Speedweeks?

A star-studded field is expected for each night of racing during Georgia-Florida Speedweek for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. In addition to full-time series drivers such as Ricky Thornton Jr., Tim McCreadie, Hudson O'Neal, Devin Moran and Tyler Erb, you will also see a handful of invaders like Kyle Larson, Jonathan Davenport, Brandon Overton and Brandon Sheppard swoop in with hopes of stealing checkered flags.
