Aaron Reutzel led an American sweep of the podium on prelim night one of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, Australia. Reutzel held off Chase Randall and Rico Abreu who charged from 14th after an engine change.

"We were really good there, just been a lot of trial and error," Aaron Reutzel said, "We came here early. You do so much different here, you set up cars different. If I get a little better in traffic I'll feel really good about this car.

"I'm just so happy to get a win, this team prepares all year for this, I can't thank them enough. The track was phenomenal, give us this Sunday and it will put on a great show for the fans."

Kerry Madsen led the race early before he inherited problems with his car shortly into the 30 lap feature. Reutzel would take over the lead and battled with Chase Randall and former Classic Champ Brock Hallett for half of the race. Hallett would finish fifth, while Cory Eliason drove up to the fourth spot.
