Stewart Friesen Returning To Dirt With NASCAR Pinty's Series At Ohsweken
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen is returning for another run with the NASCAR Pinty's Series at Ohsweken Speedway.
The NASCAR Pinty’s Series is returning to the dirt at Ontario’s Ohsweken Speedway for two 100-lap races on Monday, August 14, and Tuesday, August 15. One driver that will be hungry to get to victory lane is NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen.
Friesen came so close to scoring the victory a year ago, but was beat to the line in a wild overtime finish by Treten Lapcevich. Lapcevich used a perfect bump-and-run to inch ahead of Friesen to take the victory.

Monday night will mark Friesen’s second ever start with the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. Friesen will also be racing a 360 Sprint Car at Ohsweken along with his starts in the Pinty’s Series.
Even though Friesen is heading to Ohsweken looking to get redemption for last year, redemption might be hard to come by. Lapcevich has been dominant this season up to this point with five victories in nine races. Lapcevich leads the points by 31 over defending champion Marc-Antoine Camirand.
